Behind the (Seen) exhibition

The exhibition takes place at House of Kubrick in Hong Kong where sparks a wealth of life inspiration, making it a natural choice for
an exhibition themed around movies and imagination.

Reimagine to see the (unseen)

"Behind the Seen" essentially explores how we can reimagine the narrative scenes of each creator through film clips.

This concept is vividly reflected in the poster design: a figure covers their eyes with their hands, yet draws a pair of eyes on the palms—symbolizing how creativity allows us to see beyond obstacles, no matter what lies ahead. These hands represent the various distractions of daily life, such as the constant influx of social media feeds, which can dull our curiosity and limit new possibilities. Thus, this exhibition aims to reignite our curiosity through imaginative vignettes.

We have created an artwork inspired by my all-time favorite movie, Forrest Gump. In this piece, we reimagine the character continuing his iconic marathon on a skateboard instead of running. Through this, we aim to convey the message that everyone has their own unique way of navigating life’s journey, and staying flexible and curious is key.
